Location: Fire Station No.32
When you arrive at the Fire Station, you will need to solve the puzzle. You will need to place the balloon next to the mosquito coil. Then you will ned to place the regular valve in the middle, the burner will need to be placed on the far left hand side.
There are 2 clues you will need to look form you will get both of the clues rfrom the Fire Station, these are the heated service by Harvey and the InstaHeat Model 70.
Location: InstaHeat Factory
When you arrive at the factory, you will need to have a look around for 7 clues. The first three clues you will get once you have interviewed Rasic. These clues are the Clemen’s Criminal Record, Ryan’s criminal record and Verley’s criminal record. Head into the lockers where you will need to search Ryans, Clemen’s and Varley for 3 more clues( Mosquito coil, Anarachrist papers).
Finally you will get a list of the gas fitters from Rasic.

When you arrive at the worksite of Ryan, he will jump into his car,. You will need to make chase. Watching out for civilians, you can’t let him get to far in front of you. If you do he will be able to jump onto the tram which will pass by him.

When you arrive at the apartment, you will need to look for 2 important clues. These two clues are both in the boot of the car. The mosquito coils and the 0.45 caliber ammunition.

When you arrive, you will need to have a look at the letter that was just handed to you.

Location: Elysian Fields Site
When you get to the site, you will need to get your 3 clues, all three clues are located on the desk in the office. These clues are the cement delivery, order of demolition and company memo.
Once you have left the office you will then be involved with a fight with the sites forreman. You will need to knock him out to get the location of the demolished house.
Location: Demolisted Elysian Fields House
There are 2 important clues you will need to look for. Fuest you will need to look for the orange flags. you will need to look for the “Not for construction site sign” and the film set construction piece. This piece is located at the back of the debris.
You will then start a quicktime event! You will need to start shooting at the engine a couple of times. This will disable the engine. you will need to give yourself some room to move. Once you have finished the quick time you will need to head over andues the phone close by.

When you arrive at the studios, you will need to have a look for 1 important clue. This clue is located in the screening room. The clue is the suburban redevelopment film reel.

Location: Elysian Fields Site Two
When you get to the site, you will need to head up the stairs. You will be attacked by some gangsters. You must not try to beat them; you will not be able too. When you eventually escape, you will enter a cutscene. Once the cutscene is over, you will be involved in another car chase.
Bulldozer Tip: Run and when you get to the first platform press the Left Trigger button (to turn around and auto aim) then fire off a shot, and then start running again. Do this only 1 to 3 times until you can get to the top of the ladder. Firing off makes him raise the front of the Bulldozer and slows him down.

When you arrive at the clinic, there are no important clues here.

When you arrive at the Fire & Life, there are three important clues you will need to find. These are the Case file on the desk, Coordinates in the top right corner of the document and the Increased land cost located in the bottom right hand corner.

When you arrive at the Hall of Records, you will need to find 3 important clues, thses are the registration of the company, you will need to look under the “S” Section. The Lot number on the map and Courtney Sheldon who you will find in the Ledger.
Once again you will need to be prepared for a shooting event!
Location: Monroe’s Mansion
First things first, you will need to make your way past the guards to get into the mansion. You will need to sneak your way into the house. You will need to kill all the guards. This
Once you have made it into the house, you will need to pick up the gun
You will need to look for 5 clues in the mansion. Three of the clues are located in the sage. These are the Shares, Bribes and Police Report. You will then find one of the folders on the desk and the photo behind the desk.
A Different Kind of War Case

When you arrive here, you will need to find 4 clues. the first one being the Morphine located in the cabinet. The second is the folder located on the desk and the crystal ball which is located on the floor near the bookcase. Finally there is a map located on his desk.

Location: Bunkhouse
When you arrive at the Bunkhouse, you will need to look for 7 important clues. The first clue being the Regulartor on the desk close to the origami room, as well the folded flyer on the desk in the origami room. There is a map locateed on the wall in the room as well as a crane close to the map and a photo on the wall close to the door.
Finally you will need to find the flamethrower on the toolshelf.
Once you have inspected the room,you will need to get yourself involved in the car chase.

You will need to use your pistol here, when you are down here, you will need to use any weapons you will be able to find. I would recommend the flamethrower… It adds a nice bit of fun to the end level!

How to access cases you’ve already completed?
If you’ve completed a case, but didn’t get the 5 stars you wanted, to replay a case (or free roam) simply go to the game’s main menu and select “Cases”. From there you can then choose the “Desk” and “Case” you want to replay, or to free roam select “Streets of L.A.” at the bottom.
What are Unassigned Cases?
Unassigned Cases are essentially the “Strangers/Random Encounters/Random Characters” situations or moments found in other Rockstar titles. Like in other open-world games, you will occasionally come across random crimes in progress, such as skirmishes/fights between people or shootouts, while on your drive back from a Case and you are out in the streets of Los Angeles. You can also be dispatched to a random gun battle or a bank robbery in progress. Events can also lead to Unassigned Cases that include bank robbery, fist fights, muggers, prostitutes, speeding violations, or as a negotiator for a suicide-attempt. During these Unassigned Cases certain events will always take place, such as melee fights, thefts, car chases or gun battles. As you level up in rank you will be less likely to encounter an Unassigned Case.

What Achievements / Trophies get unlocked in Story Mode?
Completing Unassigned Cases will give you the following Three Achievements/Trophies:
* A Cop on Every Corner (15G/Bronze) – Complete a single street crime case.
* Johnny on the Spot (30G/Silver) – Respond to 20 street crimes cases.
* The Long Arm of the Law (30G/Silver) – Complete all street crime cases.
Additionally, you should complete these Achievements/Trophies pretty easily while playing through the game:
* The Plot Thickens (15G/Bronze) – Find and solve an inspection puzzle.
* One For the File (15G/Bronze) – Find and inspect a clue as an LAPD Detective or Investigator.
* Auto Enthusiast (15G/Bronze) – Drive 5 different vehicles.
Last but not least, completing all of the Chapters in the game, i.e. every main case on a corresponding Desk, will earn you a respective secret/hidden Trophy or Achievement. These are:
* No Rest For the Wicked (15G/Bronze) – Complete all cases on the Vice desk.
* The Simple Art of Murder (15G/Bronze) – Complete all cases on the Homicide desk.
* Police Academy (15G/Bronze) – Complete all cases on the Patrol desk.
* Paved With Good Intentions (15G/Bronze) – Complete all cases on the Traffic desk.
* Moth To A Flame (70G/Gold) – Complete all cases on the Arson desk.
