The Red Lipstick Murder Case
Based and highly influenced by the real-life murder of Jeanne French, a 45 year-old Army nurse found nude and stomped to death on the morning of February 1947, it was supposedly linked to the infamous Black Dahlia” murder when the initials “B.D.” were found written in lipstick across her dead body; This following the murder of “Black Dahlia” (Elizabeth Short) which also took place in L.A. in 1947. In the L.A. Noire case, Phelps and Detective Rusty Galloway are called to a crime scene in which they find a badly beaten and mutilated dead body of a woman. Immediately drawing attention is a footprint on her chest. And just like the real case mentioned above, they also find a message written in lipstick across her body as well as a ring ripped from her finger. This leads the Detectives to a serial killer known as “Werewolf”. The drama grows when another dead female victim is also found naked, with a lipstick message intact. However this time the guard who gave them the hint about Werewolf is made clear and proves to be correct when a letter by Werewolf, telling of his next victim, is found at the crime scene.

When you get to “The Moors” You will need to have a look for 6 clues that will help you with your investigation. The first clue is the blunt force trauma, you will need to have a look at the victims head.
Looking to the left of the body’s hand, you will be able to find some missing jewelry. On the stomach and chest of the body you wll be able to find some writing.
Head over to marker B, you will be able to move parts of the world to solve the puzzle, making your way over to marker A you will be able to find a purse.
Finally at marker C you will be able to find some footprints.

You will need to head over and speak with the bartender, once you have spoken with the bartender, you will need to head out and look for McColl who is located in the back of the bar.

Location: Henry Residence
When you arrive at the Henry Residence, you will need to look for 5 clues. These clues are the female shoe located in the dining room. When you head into the kitch you will see the window has been forced open. This is your second clue. There is a note on the fridge door. Heading into the bedroom you will find a ring box. Finally head over to the neighbours house, once you have spoke to the neighbour to will find out that they had problems in their marriage. This is your final clue.

Location: Jacob Henry’s Apartment
You will need to find 2 clues in the apartment. These clues are the size 11 shoe located in te bedroom and the death threat note which is located on the table close to the phone.
Once you have found the clues, you will need to head over and sit down with the suspect Jacob and begin your interview.

Once you arrive at Mendez’s Apartment, you will need to look for three clues. These clues are the apartment number, you will need to have a look in the letterbox which is located in front of the apartment.
The next clue you will need to find is the ued lipstick, this is located in the box covered in blood in the bedroom.
Finally, the socket wrench also located in the box.
Once you have found the clues, you will need to follow Mendez. This will be the start of your foot chase, he will head for his car. You will need to take down his car, remember look out for the people out and about.
The Golden Butterfly Case
Location: Crime Scene
When you arrive at the crime scene, you will need to find 6 clues here. The first is very clear, it is the body in the middle of the scene. Next you will need to look at the body and look for the small men’s footprints and the missing jewlry. Th 4th clue is the purse which is close to the bosy. Looking inside the purse you will need to find the ID card of the victim. Finally, heea over to the tree. You will be able to find some more footprints.
You have found the name of the victim and the address where the victim lived, head over there to see the victims relatives.
Location: Moller Residence
Once you arrive at the victims relatives house, you will need to search for two clues. The first clue is the size 8 shoe located in the master bedroom. The second clue is located on the chest, which are the missing watch and ring.
Once you have looked around the house, you will need to and talk to Michelle and start your interview with her.

There is a single clue, the rope samples which are located on the counter, you will need to look and examine all the samples.

Location: Bellmont High School
Once you have arrived at the High School, yuou will need to catch a “Peeping Tom” You will need to catch him!
You will need to find 3 clues in Bellmont High School. The Butterfly Broach, you will find this broach on Apprehend Rooney. The rope and the overalls you will find in the boot of the bar.
You will now need to make your way back to the police statop.

Once you have arrived at the Police Station, you will need to head over and speak with Captain Donnelly. He will be waiting for you outside of the interview room where Rooney is waiting.

The Silk Stocking Murder Case
Loosely based on the real-life murder of Rosenda Mondragon in 1947, a badly cut body of a woman is found in the City Hall parking lot. Detectives Phelps and Galloway are confronted by some obnoxious reporters at the crime scene, including one who refers to the Werewolf serial killer. Clues at the scene, which they think may be a copycat murder, lead to the home of Mrs. Lapenti and from there to a string of various addresses, leading to more potential suspects.

When you arrive at this crime scene, you have 16 clues to find. The first clue are the Neck Lacerations lcoated on the body, there is also a torn library card in the right hand of the victim and there is some missing jewelry located on the left hand of the victim.
On the stomach of the victim there is some writing. Heading over to marker A, you will be able to find bloody stockig. Heading over to marker C you will be able to find a blood train. Following the trail of blood you will be able to come to another clue, a Ladies hat.
Make your way over to the rubbish bin, in the rubbish bun you will be able to find some personal belongings. Making your way along the blood trail still, you will be able to find a key hanging from a pipe. Keep following the trail, you will come across a note that has dots located on it.
Making your way onto the roof, you will come across an empty envolope. You will find the blood trail is on the roof too, following the trail you will find a make-uo kit, wedding ring, paint brush, purse. Look in the purse to find another torn library card.
Location: Antonia’s Residence
Once you arrive at Antonia’s, you will need to look for 4 clues. The first clue being in Antonia’s bedroom. You will see the broken window. Head over to the chest of draws, you will need to open the draw to find the photograph of the charm bracelet. You will see a suitcase in her room as well. Open it to find a letter from her Attorney. Finally outside of the broken window, you will find a metal bar.
Once you have had a look around her room, make your way back downstairs and talk to the owner of the house.

Once you have gone into the apartment, you will need to watch out as you will be attacked. You will need to take on Angel’s brother before you have a look around the apartment.
Once you have taken on the brother, you will need to have a look around the apartment for some clues, you will need to find 5 important clues. The first one is the apartment number, you will ba able to look at the apartment bumber on the callbox in front of the building. the next clue is in the kitchen, the alcohol located in the crate. In the kitch you will also be able to find the matchbook and the bloodstained shirt.
Once you have talked to the neighbours, you will need to head back into the apartment and use the phone to contact the station. Head back to the police station.

Ypu will need to have a look at the laundry lables that are on the body, Over at marker B and C you will need to find the boot prints and the tire tracks. Finally you will need to know the time of death of the victim. You will receive this from Carruthers.
Once you have looked around, you will need to speak to the women to find out a new location.

You will then need to head into the dining room to find the matchbox.

The Quarter Moon Murders Case
First you will need to head back down to Tech Services, you will find two notes that have been left from the Black Dahlia killer.

You will need to look at the top of the fountain for your clues.
Your first clue is the second exerpt and the social security card. They are both located at the top of the fountain.
Once you have examined the clues, you will need to head to the Hall of Records.
Location: Hall of Records
When you arrive at the Hall of Records, you will need to head over and speak to the guard. Once you have spoken to the guard, you will need to make your way up the stairs and to the top floor. You will need to head over the rope to get to the chandalier in the middle of the ceiling.
You will be able to find two clues located on the chandalier, the third exceprt and Moller’s watch. Once you have made it back onto the ground, examine your clues and head to the Public Library.

When you arrive at the library, you will need to climb up the pipe. Once on the second level you will need to climb the scaffolding. You will need to do this untill you get to the room. Once you have made it to the roof, you will need to head into the corner to find two clues.

Once Phelps has placed on his protective gear, you will need to help guide him across the planks that will lead him to the island in the middle of the lake. You will need to work quickly as the planks will start to sink.

Once you have entered the church, you will meet up with Garrett Mason. He is the bartender you met in the Homicide case. You will need to have a search around the alter. Once you have done that, head out the side door into the house which is located next to the church. There are no important clues here.
