Our Dragon Age 2 Gift Locations guide will show you where to find the location of all the Gifts for each character in your party.
Gifts are certain items that you can find scattered throughout the game during particular Quests. These special items increase chemistry or “Friendship” between your characters and you exponentially.
Here is the list of Gift Items and where to find them as well as for which particular Act:
Gift Item For Bethany
Found In: Act 1 – Portrait Of Your Mother, Birthright Quest
Where? – Check in the Amell Estate Cellar to find this Gift Item.
Gift Item For Carver
Found In: Act 1 – Tobrius’s Documents, Birthright Quest
Where? – Look once again in Amell Estate Cellar to find this Gift Item.
Gift Item For Anders
Found In: Act 2 – Tevinter Chanty Amulet, Fenris Companion Quest A Bitter Pill
Where? – You’ll find this Gift Item in the Abandon Slaver Den
Gift Item For Aveline
Found In: Act 2 – Shield of the Knight Herself, Offered and Lost Main Quests
Where? – Look in Ser Vernel’s Refuge to find this Gift Item
Gift Item For Fenris
Found In: Act 2 – A Slave’s Life and Act 3 – Blade of Mercy (Best Served Cold Main Quest)
Where? – During Act 2 you’ll find a Gift Item in a sack at the Elven Alienage at Lowtown during the nighttime. Then you’ll find the second item during a Secret Meeting Place in the Best Served Cold Main Quest.
Gift Item For Isabela
Found In: Act 2 – Ship in a Bottle (during the Blackpowder Courtesy Main Quest) and Act 3 – Rivani Talisman.
Where? – For Act 2, you’ll find the Gift Item during Smuggler’s Cut. For Act 3, look in the Dissused Passage at the docks during the nighttime.
Gift Item For Merril
Found In: Act 2 – Wooden Halla Carving and Act 3 – Sylvanwood Ring (Murder of Crows Quest)
Where? – For Act 2, this gift item will be a purchase at Ilen’s Craft Shop at Sundermount. For Act 3, you’ll need to loot the Thief Leader either during the Murder of Crows Quest or upon entering Sudermount.
Gift Item For Varric
Found In: Act 2 – The Tethras Signet Ring
Where? – You’ll find this Gift Item sold at the Trinket’s Emporium in Lowtown.
Gift Item For Sebastian
Found In: Act 2 – Strakhaven Longbow, Companions Quest Repentance
Where? – You’ll find this final Gift Item within the Harimann Estate.
