What were the best-selling games in America, Japan, and Europe the past week? Thanks to Amazon online sales data here are the games that are the hottest. Think of it as a games weather report.

What follows is a listing of the Top 10 bestsellers per region, for all systems combined.

North America’s Top 10 Games:

1. Pokemon White Version (DS)
2. Pokemon Black Version (DS)
3. Kinect Adventures with Kinect Sensor (Xbox 360 Kinect)
4. Just Dance 2 (Wii)
5. God of War III – Greatest Hits (PS3)
6. Borderlands Game of the Year Edition (Xbox 360)
7. God of War: Ghost of Sparta (PSP)
8. Zomba Fitness (Wii)
9. Crysis 2 (Xbox 360)
10. Call of Duty: Black Ops (Xbox 360)

Pokemon Black and White have been released and as expected millions of Pokefans flock towards the RPG series. With over 150 never-discovered new Pokemon this is another sure-fire hit.

Japan’s Top 10 Games:

I guesstimate Capcom has sold, in Japan alone, over 4.1 million copies of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd on PSP at this time. Expect this to keep selling for a long long time, as it becomes apparent from this video the fans really get into the game! Still no word on a Western release date from Capcom.

505 Games finally imported the Zumba Fitness craze to European Wii’s after a tremendous success in America months earlier. While casual fitness games are still on a tour the force, it’s nevertheless shocking to see it even outsell popular new Pokemon games.

  • Kinect Adventures that’s included with the Kinect Sensor returns to 1st place on the Xbox 360 charts.
