The New Generation Portable (or NGP) is getting a new RPG from Falcom.
Although Falcom isn’t a household name in the world of Japanese role-playing games, many people are fans as they have created some of the most revered and cult-favorite RPGs of all time, including the Ys series of games, the Dragon Slayer series, the Legend of Heroes series, Zwei!! and Faxanadu.
Falcom hopes to have the new RPG, which is as of now still untitled, ready for the launch of the NGP (which will most likely be announced at E3 2011). It will be an all-new title.
In other Falcom news, they also announced their newest PSP title, which is Eiyuu Densetsu Ao no Kiseki, a new entry in the “Legend of Heroes” series, which has the tagline “The story that begins with Zero goes to a deeper blue”. Awesome.
We are sure to learn more about this new NGP RPG, as well as an official title, soon.
