Ready to download the Beyond Good & Evil soundtrack for free? Heck yeah you say!
Following in the footsteps of THQ who just allowed people to download the de Blob 2 soundtrack for free, Ubisoft is now making a similar “grow-your-fanbase-by-being-awesome” gesture by making the entire soundtrack to the cult-hit Beyond Good & Evil downloadable for absolutely zero dollars!
Obviously this is in celebration of the new Beyond Good & Evil HD re-release of the highly lauded original action adventure which is now available on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. Hopefully if you didn’t buy the game yet, you will listen to the soundtrack and WANT TO buy the game!
Hopefully enough new people will play and download the HD versions to give Ubisoft complete confidence in the long-in-development Beyond Good & Evil 2.

Update #2: Thanks to Photographer Leia for informing me that you can legitimately get a free Beyond Good & Evil soundtrack on GOG.com as part of your purchase of the game digitally through the Good Old Games web-site. The game right now is priced at $10, but they have sales quite frequently as well. If you buy it you also get, along with the soundtrack: 2 HD wallpapers, 11 pieces of artwork and the 16 page manual in digital form. Remember too that all games purchased on GOG become yours (they aren’t licensed, you OWN the content) and are DRM-free (free of any kind of “Digital Rights Management”).
