Conduit 3DS in development. Looks similar to Conduit 2 for Wii

The Conduit 3DS has been confirmed by developer High Voltage Software; This as they continue to put the finishing touches on the Wii’s Conduit 2.

The revelation of a 3DS version is according to High Voltage Chief Creative officer Eric Nofsinger who believes High Voltage can become a “shining star” on the 3DS just like they have been to fans of first-person shooters for the Wii.

“The results of early prototyping on 3DS for us have been very good. We’re going to be able to have something very close to Conduit 2 on the 3DS probably by GDC.” [paraphrase us]

He went on to say that they will be able to use the same engine they created on Wii for Conduit for the 3DS version.

So far the game is lacking a publisher, but given the developers pedigree it is sure to be picked up by Sega (who published the Wii Conduit games) or someone else.

“I would guess that Sega will be interested,” Nofsinger told Eurogamer. “At DICE, the conference in Vegas that’s coming up, we’ll probably have some more chats.”
