Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is a third-person action and adventure platforming video game published by Ubisoft and released first on May 18, 2010 for Microsoft Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. It is the fourth game in the Sands of Time series, and its release coincided with that of the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time movie. The game takes place in the seven years between Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within games.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is the next chapter in the fan-favorite Sands of Time universe. Visiting his brother’s kingdom following his adventure in Azad, the Prince finds the royal palace under siege from a mighty army bent on its destruction. When the decision is made to use the ancient power of the Sand in a desperate gamble to save the kingdom from total annihilation, the Prince will embark on an epic adventure in which he will learn to bear the mantle of true leadership, and discover that great power often comes with a great cost.

    OVERALL FUN-FACTOR — 7

    I marked it down from an 8 to a 7 due to some in-game glitches that have seen quite a few players left stranded and unable to move forward. This was never patched, but Ubisoft have suggested a workaround.

    As for the music, graphics and everything else, as a whole it is absolutely fantastic fun to play through. I loved it and if you’re a Prince of Persia fan I’m sure you will too, so check it out.
