A new Super Street Fighter IV 3D trailer for the Nintendo 3DS was released by Capcom at Nintendo’s event today with some all new gameplay footage shown.

Nintendo also confirmed that the title will in fact be a “day one” title available to all on the 3DS launch day of March 25 in Europe and 27th in North America.

Additionally, all of the online features described below will be available and online on launch day. Making it the “only title to utilize the full capabilities of Nintendo’s online network at launch” according to Capcom.

In addition to what I described below, the game includes touch-screen-based “Simple Controls” which use the touchscreen to launch combos.

Here is the all-new English trailer for Super Street Fighter 4 3D.

Here are my notes on what went down from Capcom at the Nintendo event:

“Producer Ono came onto the stage to talk third-party 3DS. He had the audience raise their hands and then told them to shout “Hadouken!” when putting them together! Haha. He also joked about the 3DS being “Virtual Boy 2” and laughed about how a coin-flip landed him in Amsterdam instead of America.

Super Street Fighter 4 3D Edition will include all-new “Fighter Figurines” that you can unlock while playing. When you set them in the StreetPass settings to StreetPass mode, a verses battle will ensue if you walk past someone when your system is closed and broadcasting in StreetPass, a battle between both of your virtual Fighter Figurines will then ensue! Although you don’t see the battle per se, you can keep track of how many fights you’ve had and with whom, and then earn money for winning fights. This gives you a new kind of “verses battle experience” never before available and only on offer via 3DS.

Super Street Fighter IV 3D also includes four communication modes. The enhanced version of Internet play on the system allows online play between countries wireless! Local wireless play between buddies sitting in the same room is also available. There’s even a new “Channel Alive” Mode that allows others to link in and watch other players fight online, a Spectator Mode basically. A unique mode on the 3DS that is only available due to the enhanced communication capabilities of the portable.

Super Street Fighter IV 3DS will include 35 fighters total. Hadouken!”

Now here’s an all-new gameplay video.
