Capcom has showed off a ton of new gameplay footage for their dual Nintendo 3DS juggernauts: Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.

In addition to both games having incredible graphics that look on par with the Xbox 360, Revelations will be a full-blown Resident Evil game with levels that are going to be “huge” according to the developer. The game will also have a lot of varying locales to explore, and won’t just take place on the ship that’s lost at sea as seen in previous trailers. Of course, anyone who played Resident Evil 0 will recall that the train segment was only a very small portion of the overall game, and that seems like it will be the case with Resident Evil: Revelations as well.

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries meanwhile features many more characters outside of Jill and Chris, including Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, Hunk and Jack Krauser, among possible others. They also revealed a new Grenade Launcher weapon that sends a shock of electricity down from the sky. Capcom says that the focus of Mercenaries will be on “high action”.

Either way, both games are looking mighty impressive.
