iPad 2 details have been revealed according to multiple sources. And it promises to be an interesting 2011 with rumors of the iPad 2 and the PSP2 making the rounds.
For Apple’s new piece of hardware, reports say that the device will include two digital cameras, a front-facing camera and a rear-camera, much like the Nintendo DSi and the Nintendo 3DS.
These are according to sources within Apple’s component suppliers, in speaking to Reuters. They also said that you can expect the device to hit in 2011. With production expected to kick into high gear during the first quarter of next year with a release date of April 2011 being a target.
Another source claims that the revamped model for the new iPad 2 would be slimmer and lighter with an even higher resolution display than the current iPad model.
This comes as no surprise, as the original iPad has already sold over 7 million units since its launch in April and May (for the 3G version).
