Sequence 7: The Key To The Castello
Patching The Leak
Enter the Thieves Guild Head Quarters and interact with the blades embedded in the frame of the bar to begin.
Ezio must defeat the guards that attack outside the Tavern, he must then mount a steed and canter after La Volpe. As you reach the first two thieves jump off your horse and kill all hostiles.
In the third destination, Ezio must use his eagle eye vision to identify the thief and the successfully kill the final group of guards to end the memory.
Calling All Stand-Ins
This begins a sequence of three interlinked memories. Ezio must at least enlist four assassins a two full Assassin Signals before this mission can begin. It would be an advantage to have full crossbow ammunition.
Exit Stage Right
Begin the climb outside the Colosseum, starting on one of the pillars.
Sneak past the sentries on the external wall until Ezio reaches the second way point. The objective after the cinematic is to kill the four marked gun men without being detected and before the five minute timer is up.
Jump down to the lower levels free running to reach the first gunman.
Take a leap of faith into the haystacks, as the gunman turns his back perform a hidden assassination. Ezio can kill the three other marked gunman in the same manner.
Now you must lead Ezio’s disguised assassins into the stage. Walk calmly to the way point marker.
Move out of the central area. Identify Ezio’s position in the play (Small piles of hay will glow when viewed in eagle eye).
Ezio must then stand still on the marker, you must repeat this twice more, with Ezio’s final position in front of the stage. Using the eagle eye vision identify Micheletto, calmly walk over and assassinate him with a hidden blade before the elapsed time.
Intervention
Ezio must carry the poisoned Peitro to a doctor.
Pay all the soldiers a wide berth : Try walking past them to avoid suspicion and arousal. If the soldiers do attack use a Arrow Storm to disable them instantly. Peitro’s health has a timer so you must reach the next way point next to the doctor before his health depletes.
The second stage of this memory is to catch a thief. Try to avoid any contact with guards (if you encounter any guards along the way use smoke bombs, they are a big advantage). Using a horse will also be an advantage on this mission, as it makes it a lot shorter. Once you catch up with the thief tackle him to take him down.
In the final stage of the memory you must reach La Volpe before timer runs out. If you cannot find a horse nearby call on one and it will appear immediately, before you start this mission make sure you have located Ponte Emilio on the marker to make it easier to navigate to the destination. Canter to the west of the bridge and take the second right across the narrow Ponte Cestio. Rush to the final way point on Tiber Island to complete this memory.
Ascension
Ezio needs to return to his hideout to end the sequence. Ezio must then travel to the highlighted areas and identify Micheletto. Find a horse nearby (or call one) and begin to follow your target.
Once Ezio dismounts he must stay within range of Micheletto as he is located in a restricted area. Once the first assassination has been revealed wait for Micheletto to move away, then use the assassin single to perform the kill.
At the second way point Micheletto will once again enter a restricted area, Hire the courtesans and send them off to distract the guards. Ezio must then climb onto the nearest wall and head west, kill all nearby sentries with a crossbow. Micheletto will meet up with his agents. Micheletto will leave his agents. You need to order your assassins to strike. You must be quick and keep up with Micheletto.
Once you reach Basillica Di Massenzio there is a third and final restricted area, head north killing the crossbowman. Observe the meeting from above and assign your assassins to strike! There are three targets so you may need to use the assassins signal for each one.
The final step is to retrace your most recent steps and perform a leap of faith into the haystacks and continue following Micheletto on foot to the Colosseum.
