God of War Collection release date on PlayStation Network is November 2010. Same day as PSP’s Ghost of Sparta

God of War Collection PS3 PS2 comparison. Coming to PlayStation Network
The God of War Collection of God of War 1 and God of War 2 will be released on PlayStation Network this November 2010 announced Sony.

Pricing details haven’t been revealed yet, and it’s unknown at this point if the games will be available separately or if they will be available as a bundled set when you buy them digitally. Either way, both games will be in their upgraded form with graphics running in high-definition 720p, with 2x anti-aliased graphics at a buttery, steady 60 frames-per-second. Trophy support is also added for both games.

If you have yet to pick up the collection at retail, then this will be as good a time as any to dive in.

Unfortunately though, the God of War 1 and God of War 2 digital releases or God of War Collection set (whichever it is) will not include the bonuses that were on the disc of the retail set. So there still is a reason to buy the retail copy over the digital versions.

Here is the trailer for the original Blu-ray release.

The God of War Collection digital releases (the first PS2 games to be re-released digitally on the PlayStation Network) will coincide with that of the newest game in the series, God of War: Ghost of Sparta for the PSP which hits on November 2nd.
