Dragon Age 2 special collector’s signature edition announced

A Dragon Age 2 special edition has been announced, called the “Signature Edition”, for release alongside the original version of the game on March 8, 2011.

Those who have already pre-ordered Dragon Age 2 can have their copy of the game updated to the Signature collector’s edition at no extra cost. However this edition is on a limited run so you can only apply before January 11, 2011 before it becomes unavailable.

So make sure to go get yours updated ASAP if you wanna snag these extras!

The Dragon Age 2: Signature Edition includes the following:

  • A download code for an additional playable character and new missions
  • A Digital soundtrack (I hate this! Please give us hardcopy soundtracks!)
  • And an exclusive in-game digital armory featuring a variety of weapons and other digital items.

    “Over the past 15 years, we’ve been privileged to have the support of a passionate community of fans, who continue to grow in number with every game we release,” said Ray Muzyka, senior vice pesident of Electronic Arts and co-founder of BioWare.

    “The BioWare Signature Edition of Dragon Age II is a chance for us to reward loyal fans who pre-order the game by providing them with additional high-quality content for free.”
