Call of Duty: Black Ops features voice acting from Gary Oldman and Ed Harris

Call of Duty: Black Ops Viktor Reznov voiced by Gary Oldman
Call of Duty: Black Ops will feature some top Hollywood talent in voice acting duties announced developer Treyarch and publisher EA.

Award-winning actors Gary Oldman (The Professional, Dracula, The Dark Knight, The Book of Eli) will be returning from Call of Duty: World At War to reprise his role as the character of Viktor Reznov. This means that the story will be a direct continuation of World At War, which is sure to make fans happy.

In addition, Ed Harris (The Abyss, Apollo 13, The Right Stuff, Pollock, A History of Violence) plays CIA operative Jason Hudson, one of the main characters that appears in the Call of Duty: Black Ops campaign.

Finally filmaker David S. Goyer (Blade, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and the upcoming Superman: Man of Steel), can add Call of Duty: World at War to his list of credits as he provided consultation and story development support duty to the project.

“Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of Hollywood’s finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops’ ambitious and immersive single player experience,” says Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch. “Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise.”

Now for an awesome trailer from my favorite Gary Oldman movie: The Book of Eli.
