Zynga to partner with Google
Google (Google.com) looks to be partnering with Farmville developer Zynga (Zynga.com) on a new Google Games platform.

In an interview with Google’s CEO, Eric Schmidt, he stated:

“We haven’t announced it but you can expect a partnership with Zynga in the future.”

This was already rumored to be in the works following heavy investments of over $100 million by Google into the company surfaced amongst news surrounding the two partnering on the “Google Games” platform.

Although the announcement hasn’t officially been revealed, or even discussed by either side, the quote above seems to suggest that it is likely only a matter of time. And it marks the first official record from the company that wheelings-and-dealings are going on behind-the-scenes.

So when Google Games is announced, you can definitely expect Zynga to be right there alongside. No doubt with their popular Farmville, intact. Although that’s just an educated guess…
