A Jurassic Park episodic adventure game is being created by Telltale Games (Sam & Max series, Tales of Monkey Island, etc.) in an exciting piece of news that was first announced in Game Informer.
This comes by way of a new deal with NBC Universal that TellTale snagged to create, what is assumed to be adventure games, based on the Jurassic Park license (which I assume will be more the films than anything else).
It’s not known exactly how many episodes TellTale will be making, but it will entail a full “season” (which has been four to six episodes depending on the series. One new one released each month).
“For Jurassic Park, we will leverage Telltale’s expertise in storytelling and game design to deliver on the tension and drama of the series creating the ultimate cinematic adventure.” Said TellTale CEO Dan Connors CEO.
The first episode will release later this year. We’ll surely see some footage of this new Jurassic Park game at E3 2010.
