    You can unlock additional weapons by completing the following tasks.

    1. Machine Gun SP — Have a saved game file from the Lost Planet 2 demo.
    2. Firecracker — Get to career level 30 with Femmes Fatales.
    3. Plasma Gun SP — Get to career level 30 with NEVEC.
    4. Shuriken — Get to career level 30 with Rounders.
    5. Shotgun SP — Get to career level 50 with Femmes Fatales.
    6. Plasma Cannon SP — Get to career level 50 with NEVEC.
    7. Hand Cannon SP — Get to career level 50 with Rounders.
    8. Akrid Launcher — Get to career level 50 with the Snow Pirate Elites.
    9. Energy Gun SP — Get to career level 70 with Femmes Fatales.
    10. V-Device SP — Get to career level 70 with NEVEC.
    11. Gun Sword SP — Get to career level 70 with Rounders.

    To enter these codes/passwords, go to the Character Customization screen. Then press the Y button to go to the slot machine, followed by pressing the X button to bring up the password menu on Xbox 360. On PS3 you press the Triangle button followed by the Square button.

    How to Use A Customized Character in Campaign Mode

    Finish the Campaign Mode once on any difficulty level to unlock the use of custom characters. Go to the Character Select Screen and press X (on Xbox 360) or Square (on PS3) once or twice to turn the option on or off again.

    Unlockable Character Skins List

    You can unlock additional characters/skins if you own a lot of Capcom games.

    1. Albert Wesker (from the Resident Evil series) — Have a save file from Resident Evil 5.
    2. Frank West (from Dead Rising) — Have a save file from Dead Rising.
    3. Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago (from the Gears of War series) — Finish the Campaign once. Only unlocks on the Xbox 360 version naturally.

    How to Unlock Extreme Difficulty Mode

    You can unlock the Extreme Difficulty level by finishing the game on the Hard Difficulty level.
