Over 15 characters make an appearance in Iron Man 2: The Video Game. We list the cast of both the game and the film below, along with the name of the actors and/or voice actors that play the corresponding parts.

The videogame is developed by Sega Studios San Francisco (Xbox 360, PS3, DS, Mobile), High Voltage Software (Wii, PSP) and Gameloft (iPhone) and is loosely based on the film of the same name (which hits theaters on May 7, 2010). It features an all-new storyline The Invincible Iron Man comic book writer Matt Fraction that was written exclusively for the game, and will feature enemies and characters that don’t appear in the film.

Here is the list of Iron Man 2: The Video Game characters:

1. AIM (Advanced Idea Mechanics)
Multinational Industrial giant involved in energy production and military contracting. After purchasing Hammer Industries, they now operate the drone program for the U.S. military (though now they also sell to all comers, including General Shatalov and their own terrorist organization).

2. Crimson Dynamo
20-foot-tall power armor suit built by AIM for General Shatalov in exchange for the use of his Tesla power facility to power the processor farm needed to boot up ULTIMO. Can stun the hero or throw him back using attraction and repulsion fields. Also bullrushes the hero and has ranged electrical attacks.

3. General Valentin Shatalov (Game: Voiced by Jess Harnell)
Russian separatist leader and pilot of Crimson Dynamo.

4. Hogan (Film: Played by Jon Favreau)
“Happy” Hogan is not only Tony Stark’s personal chauffer, trainer and bodyguard; he’s one of his best friends. never one to refuse the call to aide his super hero boss, Hogan makes an effort to always be alongside Tony.

5. Iron Man (Game: Voiced by Eric Loomi from the Iron Man animated series)
The central hero of the game. His suit can hover, fly, has weapons concentrated throughout, and can fire repulsors from the palms of his hands!

6. Justin Hammer (Film: Played by Sam Rockwell)
Every bit as business-savvy as Tony, the power-hungry Hammer has gladly stepped in to fulfill military contracts when Stark Industries abandoned weapons development. Possessing none of Tony’s ethical reservations, Hammer is willing to work with anyone if it means he will see a profit.

7. Kearson DeWitt (creator of Dynamo, voiced by Jeremy Irons)
Former Stark employee and scientist with a desire to destroy Tony Stark.

8. Lt. Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Film: Played by Don Cheadle, Game: Voiced by Don Cheadle)
It’s not easy standing in the shadow of a modern Leonardo Da Vinci, but James Rhodes does it with pride and loyalty. One of Stark’s closest and oldest friends, Rhodey helps mitigate Tony’s strained relationship with the United States military. Often aggravated by his friend’s cavalier lifestyle and with Tony’s insistence that the suit remain only his, it remains to be seen if Rhodey believes there is anyone more responsible to pilot this revolutionary weapon.

9. Natasha Romanoff (Film: Played by Scarlett Johansson, Game: Voiced by Catherine Campion)
An agent of SHIELD (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcements and Logistics Division) and currently operating as a Notary Public in Stark Industries’ Legal department, Natalie (a.k.a. Black Widow) is one of Tony’s newest and most valuable employees.

10. Nick Fury (Game & Film: Played by Samuel L. Jackson)
Director of the mysterious SHIELD (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcements and Logistics Division) Fury maintains the status quo by keeping a close eye on threats to the globe.

11. Phil Coulson (Film: Played by Clark Gregg)
An agent of SHIELD (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcements and Logistics Division) Phil Coulson reports directly to Nick Fury when it comes to anything Iron Man/Tony Stark.

12. Roxxon Energy Corporation
An unscrupulous global technology company run by Kearson DeWitt. Much of the inventions are built on stolen Stark technology

13. Tony Stark (Film: Played by Robert Downey Jr., Game: Voiced by Eric Loomi)
Billionaire playboy. Celebrity super hero. Iron Man. Since shutting down the weapons division of Stark Industries, Tony Stark has continued to provide the world with revolutionary technologies and has begun to protect the world as the armored avenger more commonly referred to as Iron Man. With his new public identity he has caught the attention of not only the public but the U.S. government, which wishes to confiscate his Iron Man “weapon” for military application.

14. Virginia “Pepper” Potts (Film: Played by Gwyneth Paltrow, Game: Voiced by Colleen O’Shaughnessey)
As Tony Stark’s executive assistant, Pepper is the driving force behind one of the world’s greatest minds. Keeping a super hero organized and efficient is no easy task, but Pepper handles it with ease and grace. Although there is a mutual attraction between her and Tony, Pepper is never one to put romance before professionalism.

15. War Machine
The former Mark II Iron Man suit, adapted by Hammer Industries and the U.S. military so that it now has heavier armor and multiple external weapons.

16. Whiplash/Ivan Vanko (Film: Played by Mickey Rourke, Game: Voiced by Mickey Rourke)
Son of Soviet physicist Anton Vanko, Ivan has a vendetta against Tony and the Stark legacy. Eager to avenge his family’s honor, Vanko has designed his own repulsor-based weapon capable of enacting his revenge against Iron Man.
