Tekken iPhone/iPod Touch has officially been confirmed by Namco Bandai! However the game won’t be shown at the Game Developer’s Conference on March 9th.
However the team working on this newest portable entry in the King of Iron Fist Tournament says that the game is coming along well and looks really good running on the iPhone.
To quote: “The game is being finished up and it plays rather nicely.”
However what’s not clear is whether this is an all-new entry in the long-running fighting series that was built from the ground up for the iPhone, or if it’s a port . . . likely of the PSP version of Tekken 6.
Multiplayer also hasn’t been confirmed, but you have to imagine that it’s probably in there. After all, what’s a fighter without multiplayer?
