This Wii Sports Resort walkthough video guide will take you through all of the mini-games available in this best-selling sequel to the Wii launch title known as Wii Sports.
But the most important aspect of Wii Sports Resort is the fact that the game ships with the Wii MotionPlus Accessory. This little device plugs into the bottom of the standard Wii Remote (and comes encased in the bottom section of a Wii Jacket) and drastically improves the motion sensing to allow for direct 1:1 control. That means that the Wii Remote will now LITERALLY move on-screen exactly as you turn your wrist. As opposed to before, where the Wii Remote would only register the direction and force of a swing and not the subtleties of a tilt.
You can buy a Wii Remote with Wii Motion Plus in one of four colors (white, black, blue and pink) for $50, a Wii Remote without Wii Motion Plus for $40 and a Nunchuck Accessory (required for some mini-games) for $20. Wii Play also includes a Wii Remote without Wii Motion Plus, and the game, for $50. Whichever way you go, you will want more than one Wii Remote to have the most fun playing Wii Sports Resort with multiple players (up to 4, but each needs their own Wii Remote and Wii MotionPlus Accessory. As well a Nunchuck for certain games) since the game does not support online play.
