Dead Space: Planet Cracker and Extraction HD coming to XBLA and PSN

Dead Space: Planet Cracker and Dead Space Extraction HD revealed
Two new Dead Space games may have been prematurely revealed in an online survey.

In said survey, the previously Wii-exclusive retail bomb, Dead Space Extraction, is revealed as possibly coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The game would have updated high-definition graphics but with the same “on-rails guided first-person experience” gameplay that made the Wii game a cult hit. It would also feature the entire “interactive horror experience” that the Wii game offered, at the price of $15 bucks.

Then there is another titled revealed in the survey, which may be a whole new game.

Entitled “Dead Space: Planet Cracker”, it is described as a “resource strategy game where players will manage a CEC Mining operation”. Players would focus their attempts at “maximizing their daily profit” and “defending their hard-won ore from Space Pirates.”

The survey goes on to say that Planet Cracker would be an extension of the Dead Space 2 story, which could gain players “in-game rewards” for the console versions of Dead Space 2.

Both games are mentioned as ideas that could be potential give-aways for people who pre-order the upcoming horror sequel, Dead Space 2.

While all of this information is legit, you need to take it with a grain of salt because plans could change in the future.
