The release of Final Fantasy XIII: International is nearly upon us (March 9, 2010 on Xbox 360 and PS3).
Since this is the long-time-in-coming next Final Fantasy game proper, Square Enix has just released an all-new 5-minute long trailer for the game to promote it, in which the new English theme song “My Hands” by Leona Lewis is showcased.
“When Square Enix approached Leona about including her song ‘My Hands’ in Final Fantasy XIII, she was honored to be partnered with such an iconic and groundbreaking video game series,” RCA Music Group’s Tom Corson said in a press release. “Leona is a natural fit with the game’s powerful themes and strong female protagonist.”

I must say that the song fits pretty well, although the mix is a bit off, with the song sometimes overpowering the vocals. I hope that this isn’t the case in the actual game. But other than that, no complaints from me.
