Armored Core 5 has officially been unveiled via an Armored Core Silent Line Portable tournament in Tokyo. Developed by From Software, it will be released for unspecified platforms this year.
No details on the game were revealed but it may be on the next cover of Famitsu. Which means details (and scans) are to come soon, which will hopefully shed a little bit of light on the title.
In addition to the above, they also announced a release date for the PSP version of Armored Core: Last Raven for March 4th in Japan (previously released for PS2).

This will be a big deal for developer and publisher From Software, who has only recently hit their stride in America after many years of stagnation. This is due to unique, breakout titles like Demons Souls and the upcoming 3D Dot Game Heroes, both for PS3. So it’ll be interesting to see where the “new” From Software takes their flagship series.
