Chapter 2

Darksiders Walkthrough – Drowned Pass

The Scalding Gallow

You will now need to access the Serpent Hole. This should make it a lot easier to get back to Samael, you will now need to have a chat to Vulgrim, choosing the Serpenty Holes. Once you have completed that you will now need to follow the path in the Serpent Hole.

You will now need to head to the south to the destroyed building. When you look up you will see some red crystals with a bomb growth attached to them. You will need hit the bomb with your crossblade and it will make the column creating a ramp for your to cross.

There is now a new way point that will appear on your map to the west. Heading down the streets to the point, here you will find the way blocked by the crystals. You will need to use a bomb to clear the path to continue.

Drowned Pass Access Tunnel

In this section you will encounter some Fleshburster’s. Take down the enemies in the corridor, this will make the gate disappear.

When you have made it to the next room there is large fan. You will need to jump onto the lade that is located on the left. Make your way through the hallway. Hitting the switch to get the blade turning.

Return for Treasure

You will need to ride the fan blade to the doorway. You will need to test out your chaos form on these enemies.

Drowned Pass

You will need to run off the edge of the waterfall, following the cave that is shown on your map.

There is another cave that is located under water. It leads to the east, parallel to the cave that is under the waterfall, you will need to take a swim, taking out all the enemies on the other side before you reach the chests.

Make your way back into the way and go south, you will then come to two partly submerged buildings. Close to the base of the building to the north, should be an area where you should be able to swim through. Make your way through and up the stairs.

Once you have swam to the surface, you will need to have a look for a submerged crystal switch that is close by. It is located to the west of the two builds. Once you have hit the switch a platform will come to the surface of the water. You will be able to cross this platform by swimming towards the south.

Return for Treasure

You will now be able to fully emerge from the water. There will be a circular portal that is located in the far south, this will lead you to a shore with a Tortured Gate.

Once you have reached the gate, you will need to equip your Earthcaller and wake up the gate. Four shadows of Arenas will appear. They will also show on your map.

Drowned Pass Shadow Realm

Head to the north from the gate, you will need to swim straight to the pipes that are located across the way. Make your way into the pipes and follow it back to the Shadow Arena.

Using your regular attack combos to weaken the enemies, you will need to wait until the instand kill icon appears above their head.

Then make your way to the cove towards the north west. You will find the next Arena located here.

Wrath of War

This is a pretty easy round to go by, make sure you use your Chaos Form in a group of enemies to kill them instantly. Go for the smaller enemies and ignore the larger ones if you can. Once you have finished your chaos form you will then be able to slay the enemies.

Defender

In this Arena there are six undead Soldiers in this room, your job is to protect them. You will need to attack the enemies and quickly finish them off. Using your Scythe to blast the crowds. There will be some more enemies that come into the fight. Use your Wrath and Chaos on them.

Head to the north east to find the final Arena.

World Of Pain

This is another simple battle, the trick is to weaken the enemies before you throw the cars at them. If you want you can not take any notice of the larger enemies, if you do want to defeat them you can throw cars at them.

You will now need to make your way to the gate with the Four Areas, you will need to beat your Earthcaller. The gate will then agree to leave

Anvil’s Ford Access Tunnel

Vulgrim is located at the far end of this tunnel. You will need to traverse the submerged tube and them make your way up the demonic growth. Double jump to the rope, crossing the area. Vulgrim is located down the hall on the left hand side. However the entrance to Anvil’s Ford is the tube located on the right.

Ulthane

Ulthane is immune to your regular attacks, however you can use your chaos and pound him to a pulp. You need to watch out and be quick since this fight be will over before you know it.

You will need to jump up and attack the angels, you will also be able to throw cars at them to bring them down from the sky. Once you have finished clearing the first area, a door will open that heads to the west.

Once you have finished dealing with the angels, Ulthane will start to smash the large crystals.

Once you have collected everything from the chest, the angels will start to circling to land. Once they have landed you will need to switch over to your chaos form, trying to kill as many angels as you can. Once you have done this a prompt will appear above Ulthane, he will then throw you to another building.

These Angels are harder than they look. Especially the Champion Angel. Using your regular attacks is all you need to use to take him down.

Make your way down to the elevator shaft once your path is clear, you will find some bomb growth here too. Grabbing bomb, you will need to target it at the crystal. This will clear the path for Ulthane.

Anvil’s Ford Part 2

A Storm Warden will make his appearance through the wall, you will need to throw a bomb onto it to bring it down, slaying it until the prompt for the instant kill appears.

Once you have taken down the warden, he will drop a Redemption(almost like a chain saw) and go through the hole in the wall.

Make your way down the kill until you get to an opening, you will have to shoot the angels that are in the distance. Don’t run up to them, charge up your shots and shot them from where you’re standing. If you do get to close they will inflict a great deal of damage to you. This is a relatively long battle, once you have completed this battle, make your way up the hill.

Once you have killed about 50 enemies things should start to quieten down a little. Ulthane will clear the place for you to join him, he will destroy the crystals between the pair of you. You will need to throw down your Redemption and start looking for loot.

Once you have made it to the platform, have a look to the south east, there is some demonic growth located here, climb it and follow it around to the east side. Once you have made it drop down to find a chest.

You will now need to jump across the pit. Here you will meet up with Ulthane again. He will destroy all the crystals that are blocking the chest.

Once you have made it to the top of the hill, Ulthane will admit he has been defeated and hand you the combat Lore enchantment, it would be a good idea to use this straight away.

Darksiders Walkthrough – The Hollows

The Hallows : The Griever

When you start this level your first encounter will be with some eight legged demon

Grab onto the Redemption lying on the floor, remember to charge it up and shoot it at the spiders belly. You will be able to avoid the beams by going right to left, however you will experience some damage when you fire.

The beast will soon leave, you will need to head to the south of the clock tower, go up the eastern stairs. Once you have made it to the top you will have to have a look around for a couple of chests.

Your only way out now is to go east, go through the door in the south-east corner of the clock tower., you will need to follow the passage back by using the demon growth on the roof. This will take you to the large room in the west area.

When you have arrived in the new room, you will be able to use your crossblade at the locusts. Make your way to the middle of the platform that has the Inert bomb. Destroy this and it will destroy the locusts around the bomb.
You will now need to grab the bomb and throw it into the red crystals once again. You will not be able to light it just yet.

You will now need to dive down into the water, towards the path that is not blocked by the blue crystals. You will need to make your way to the surface at the end of the north west, from here you will need to jump up onto the demonic growth climbing to the top and jumping off.

Make your way back towards the main chamber, once you have made it into the chamber you will need to activate the switch.

You will need to use your crossblade to carry the fire from the lit gas, from there jump down to the middle platform once again.

Using your crossblade once again to carry the fire near the lit gas leak near the red crystals. Once you have finished lighting all three pipes and you have planted the inter bomb on the red crystals. You will need to run for your life to the switch.

Once you are on the platform you will need to cross the ropes. Keeping back from the bomb, you will need to light the bomb using the torch. Make your way to the door.

Hallows, South west Part 1

Now you have dropped down into the lowest area. Dropping down again you will need to make your way into the pool and swim to the bottom. Make your way back to the top and use the hand grips to climb up.

You will need to now make your way around the western passage that goes towards the south. You will need to be prepared as you will encounter a new enemy. The Gorecloaws will do a lot of damage to you. They will be able to get stunned by the charged crossblade, then you will need to finish it off with your sward attacks.

Once you have destroyed your new enemy, you will be able to make your way to the next room. When you have made it into the room you will encounter more enemies. With the larger of the enemies it will be a good idea to use your chaos force.

Dropping down into the hole, you will need to take a swim down the passage. Once you have made it to the other side you will see a locked door and a nothing hole filled with water.

Make your way into the hole and swim down, one side is blocked with a fan which you will need to turn off. There is another area in the channel where you will be able to get to the surface.

Keep on swimming until you come to the end of the passage. You will now need to hit the switch, this will turn off the fan that was in the channel. With the Beholder’s key, you will now be able to access the locked door via the watery tunnel.

Use the key to open the door. On the other side of the door is a treasure chest.

Hallows South West Part 2

When you have made it to this room, you will be able to pick up the Tremor Gauntlet, this will allow you to destroy blue crystals.

Once you have got this item you will cause an ambush. You will be able to stun the Grappleclaws with your regular attacks. Once the prompts appear above them. You will now be able to ride the creature.

Once you have got on the enemy, turn it against the other enemies. This will allow you to take it out swiftly , the second prompt will appear, this will allow you to take down the other Grappleclaw. You will also need to take down the other enemies and the gate that is blocking your exit route.

Climbing up the platform you will grab a hold of the Beholder’s key that is located in the chest, from here you will need to unlock the large blue door.

You will need to punch your way through the blue crystals, you will appear in a water filled hallway, this will take you to the south of the map.

You will need to keep your eyes open for a hole that is located on the right side of the wall just round the corner.

There are three platform located in this room, you will be able to move them up by pressing the switches located on top of them.

You will need to raise up the west platform, there should be a piece of machinery that is near the edge. You will need to push it off the platform and it will land on the west platform. You will need to lower the platform to the ground. You will be able to do this by using the switch.

You will need to place all the platforms at their lowest point.

Once again you will need to raise the west platform. It needs to be above the middle platform, you will need to pull the metal to the gap that is in the fence. Whilst you are grabbing it you, start charging up your Tremor Gauntlet. You will need to have a fully charged bolt to send it flying!!

you will need to repeat this action to get the bulk onto the other platform.

Once you have done that, you will need to push against the platform, smashing the crystals and head to the north west. There will be locusts in the passage but you know how to handle them.

Hollows South west Part 3

First you will need to make your way across the rope, dropping down on the far side. A Griever will appear again, you will need to smash it’s arachnid through the ceiling.

You will then need to avoid and dodge the beast, attacking the other enemies that infest the area. The Griever will eventually leave. Head towards the northern passage, you will come to a dead end were you will need to smash the crystals.

You will now need to make your way back through the room that was flooded, once you have arrived here you will need to smash the crystals that are directly in front of you. This will activate the water in the dungeon to rise.

You will now be able to grab a map that is located in the flooded room, this map is located in one of the chests.

Once you have in the north room, you will find a platform that has a car on it. There is also a panel that is located above.

We do have a goal to complete in this room, we will need to replace the truck with a larger and taller car. Firstly you will need to remove and destroy the crystals that are blocking your tube entrance.

Move the platform to the west, this is where the truck is. Once you are here you will need to activate the switch that’s located on the control panel.

Jump down, punching and grabbing the truck, moving it into the tunnel to the north. On the south platform there is a large train carriage.

You will need to pull the carriage to the platform, once you have properly placed the carriage a green light will appear, make your way back to the control area.

You will now need to move the carriage back to the east side.

Jumping down, you will need to attack the car with your Tremor Gauntlet. You will need to make your way to the train, this will allow you to grab onto the demon growth. Climbing the demon growth you will need to destroy the blue crystals.

You will now need to backtrack into the main hall, this is where you met and took on the Griever. You will come across a new enemy here called a Wraith Scout. They are pretty tough girls!! using your Tremor Gauntlet will make short work of them.

Once you have cleared the room, you will need to make your way down the stairs in the top north corner of the room.

Darksiders Walkthrough Hunting The Griever

The Hallows East Part 1

On the other side of the door you will come to a large drop. Floating below you are two cubes. From where you are standing you will be able to hit these cubes, they will rise out of the water, go to the right cube first. Swinging your sword will make it rise, jump onto it quickly.

Make your way to the red crystals, you will need to destroy these, making your way down the hallway to the south, you will be able to get a hold of a inert bomb. This bomb lays next to a locked door.

You know how to ignite them!

Once you have made it into the next room, you will need to take on a few Locusts. Just around the corner is a room that is flooded.

Take a jump into the water, swimming along the submerged tunnel heading to the north. Head to the surface of this area. Have a look for some yellow stripey hand grips. These are located on the wall. Make your way to the top using the hand grips, there will be a Geyser at the top.

When you smash all the blue crystals there will be some bomb growth amongst the crystal.

Darksiders Walkthrough Train Car Puzzle

The Hallows East Part 2

Throwing a bomb into the red crystal, this is on the far side of the room. Have a look to the left and right. You will see a unlit gas leak.

The Hollow South East

You will now need to make your way into the large room. You will need to take on two Grappleclaws. You know what to do with theses beasts!

Once you have taking on the Grappleclaws and the smaller enemies, you will need to take yourself down the west side of the room. You will come across a few enemies, use your regular attacks to clear the room.

Head into the small area that’s located in the south. This room contains a switch. You will need to throw this switch, head back to the north where you will find a simular area. Here you will be able to jump down and have a swim.

Darksiders Walkthrough Follow The Griever

Once you have destroyed the crystals, you will be able to use the hand grips to get to the next set of crystals, these crystals are blocking some gears.

Smashing the blue crystals, you will now need to push the switch which is near the door.

This will drop a Stalactite through the floor into the flooded area.

You will now need to head back through the long room,stopping at the deep pool of water. Jumping into the water and swim down.

Once you have swum down you will find a pipe that heads to the north.

You will now need to head back to the locked door in the south, you will need to open it with the Beholders key.

Now you have made it into the new area, your path will now be locked by a Griever. Get behind the train. You will need to hit it with your gauntlet.

You should be protected from the griever. Make your way down the tunnel, at the end of the tunnel is a small room. Taking another tunnel, this will lead you to the south west area of the dungeon.

Darksiders Walkthrough The Hollows Part 6

Have a look through the cave, you should be able to find a large room that contains some high platforms.

Make your way to the bottom of the room, you will need to take out the blue crystals. Once you have done that this area will fill with water.

Have a look around the water filled passages, make your way along the north wall, here you will be able to find room that will lead you to the high platforms.

Make your way through the east exit.

Darksiders Walkthrough – The Hollows, The Griever Boss Fight

The Griever

The goal of this battle is to smash the rain car into the Griever, you will need to use your Tremor Gauntlet.

First you will need to clear out the blue crystals, hit the crystals nearest to the Griever first. (using your dash button)

to dodge the beam you will need to jump over it and dash under it. This beam will make the blue crystals impossible to destroy for a moment. When this happens you will need to stay on the far side.

When the beam disappears, quickly go and destroy the crystals. Once you have cleared the crystals you will be able to head behind the train carriage. Move the carriage.

You will need to move it to the edge of the tunnel, slamming it into the creature.

You will need to dodge the stalactites for a while, then you will need to once again throw the carriage at the monster again, do not do this while the stalactites are falling.

When you have a clear opening take it!

You will need to take on some Locusts in this battle too. When you get another chance send the train back at the monster to bring it down for a second time. This time you will need to use your chaos Form.

This is the last round of the battle. Punching the car to kill off the locusts. You will also need to hit the griever with the car once again. When you bring down the griever this time, you will be bringing down for good.
