Ready for Duke? You better be, because 3D Realms CEO Scott Miller has gone on record in an interview with Gamesauce magazine stating that multiple Duke Nukem videogames and various other projects are currently in the works.

He even goes as far as to suggest that Duke Nukem Forever may still be released. But we won’t beat that dead, bone-dry horse any more until we see real evidence.

To quote Scott Miller,

“The next few years should see a strong resurgence in Duke,” Miller states in the first printed issue of Gamesauce. “There are numerous other Duke games in various stages of development, several due out this year. We are definitely looking to bring Duke into casual gaming spaces, plus there are other major Duke games in production. Almost all of these projects are unannounced.”

The projects he is speaking of most likely include the following:

* Two Duke Nukem iPhone games he previously spoke of.
* Duke Nukem Trilogy for the DS and PSP from Frontline Studios.
* Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project for Xbox Live Arcade.
* Unannounced new projects?

Other projects in the works he may be referring to include:

* Project D-Day? It was recently teased via a screenshot on the official Duke Nukem Facebook page. You can see the screenshot above.
* Duke Begins which was in development by Borderlands developer Gearbox, before being put on hold in July of this year.
* Duke Nukem Forever, natch. Speaking of DNF, Miller stated: “We’ve never said that Duke Nukem Forever has ceased development. Yes, we released the internal team, but that doesn’t correlate to the demise of the project.”
* The forthcoming Duke Nukem movie, of which Miller says, “The Duke film is making steady progress…we’re developing a much more complete storyverse for Duke, filling out all of the details we’ve left to the imagination in the games.”
