Tips For Collecting Coins:

For each map in the game there are 1 gold and 5 silver Coins to be collected.

These tips will generally help you get the Coins more quickly:

Climb into high houses and/or building to find Coins.

Help out villagers that are being abused by Templars. After you’ve helped them, they’ll give you lots of Coins.

In-game Upgrades Overview:

This section reveals the Upgrades that you can buy with the Coins that you collect as Altair in Cyprus.

Throwing Knife Maximum: Altair can carry 4 throwing knives.
Costs 100 Coins to unlock.

Automatic Block.

Critical Hits: 5% chance to critical hit
Costs 75 Coins to unlock.

Upgrade Weapon Attack Damage: Altair’s weapon do more damage.
[Level 1-3] Starts at 200 Coins to unlock the first level of damage.

Hide Speed.

Synchronization Rate: Synchronization Rate Increase
Costs 200 Coins to unlock.

Synchronization Strength: 5 Synchronization Bars
Costs 25 Coins to unlock.

Complete All Accomplishments:

You can unlock 40 Accomplishments in this PSP game. It’s similar to the Trophies/Achievements you can collect for games on the PS3/Xbox 360, but sadly there will be no way to show off your accomplishments. Still, it’s a nice extra to have.

Unlock Bonus Weapons and Health With The PSP To PS3 Linkup:

This is how the PSP and PS3 linkup interconnectivity between the two PlayStation games Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines and Assassin’s Creed II works.

PS3 codex can be translated into new weapons and more health/life for Altair on the PSP.

PSP coins and beaten boss’ weapons get passed on from Altair to Ezio on the PS3.
