The Siege of Mirkwood is the next The Lord of the Rings Online Expansion Pack for the PC MMO based on JRR Tolkiens famous books, and will be released on December 1, 2009. It will cost you $20.
Publisher Turbine also announced the Lord of the Rings Online: Adventurer’s Pack, which will include the game and all previous expansions plus this new one. A release date hasn’t been announced for it but it will cost you $40.
If you are planning on getting the Siege of Mirkwood expansion, you may want to consider pre-ordering. Those who do will receive 2 character slots and one shared storage slot that allows players to share items with all of their characters on the same server for $19.99 and get the Harbinger’s Cloak which provides 8% speed boost and the Dusky Nimblefoot Goat mount for free.
