A Crimson Skies sequel may be a possibility according to Jordan Weisman.

He is the founder of FASA, which is the company that created Mechwarrior, Shadowrun and Crimson Skies. His new company is called “Smith & Tinker” and they own the rights to the FASA properties.

Speaking with GameSpot, Jordan makes it known that he’d like to reboot the Crimson Skies series and that they already have some ideas on where to take the franchise.

To quote:
“Most of my time is invested in [Smith & Tinker], but in the wee hours of the night, I spend time thinking about the older properties. I think Crimson Skies is something we’d love to get some energy around, and we have some devious plans—we’ll see if those materialize.”
