Speaking at Microsoft’s E3 2009 event in Los Angeles, Bungie’s Joe Staten revealed that Halo: Reach (AKA Halo 0) will be coming to the Xbox 360 in 2010.

In Halo: Reach, the blockbuster prequel to the Halo trilogy, you experience the events that transpired on the planet Reach. It’s that very same planet where Spartans-II’s are trained. Created by acclaimed developer Bungie, Halo: Reach will be available in the Fall of 2010 exclusively on Xbox 360. As a bonus for Halo fans, Halo 3: ODST will be the key to entry for the Halo: Reach Multiplayer Beta coming to Xbox LIVE in Spring 2010.

Contrary to what people thought when Bungie decided to go independent and loosen ties with Microsoft, the famed FPS developer did not announce any games outside of the Halo franchise.
