Noby Noby Boy‘s Girl has reached Mars, making the new planet available for play in the game.
This is thanks to a special “Lucky Week” bonus that Namco had. Which allowed players to greatly multiply their distance stretched, therefore allowing Girl to reach Mars much sooner than the “years” it would’ve actually taken her to reach the Red Planet (the total length of all players is added up, allowing Girl to extend and reach new planets in our solar system).
Which, of course, is a good thing. Because, without it, there is less actual GAME to get into.
The next planet for her to reach is Jupiter. Which naturally is much, much further than Mars (having to go through an asteroid belt and all) and a mere 340 million miles away . . . So I’m sure next up the developers will be doing “Lucky MONTHS”.
