5th Cell has released a new Scribblenauts trailer that shows off the game’s unique writing mechanic.
Developed by the same guys that created the DS “Drawn to Life” games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive for release this June, in Scribblenauts players must help main character Maxwell reach the Starite in each level by solving a series of puzzles using a notepad to write words.
There are several words that players can use to solve the puzzles and the words will correspond to an object that you think Maxwell would or could use to solve the puzzle. Once you’ve discovered and written the right word, the object will appear and behave as the real object would. The player can then use said object and combine it with other objects to create completely new gameplay and solve the world’s puzzles.
