Namco Bandai has announced the PS3 exclusive Katamari Forever, as the next game in the Katamari franchise (the game is called Katamari Tribute in Japan). It will be released in “late 2009” in North America.
The newest entry will contain full high definition graphics a long with the ability to change the game’s graphics filter for a number of unique styles and looks such as “Wood Tone” and “Comic Tone”. The game also will feature a batch of old levels from past games that have been recreated with the new HD visuals and even more objects than before. In the new stages Katamari Forever will feature lots of new objects and items as well as new worlds like a black and white land. The game also features the ability to jump! Jumping will be activated by shaking the controller.
