The game was built from the ground up around an R-rated film (later downgraded to PG-13 after the game had already started development) meaning the game makes full use of Wolverine’s claws to slice and dice in bloody and realistic form, as heads roll (literally) and limbs fly (literally). The Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions live up to their Mature rating while the other versions have been toned down for a Teen rating (Wii, PS2, PSP and DS) which is more in line with the final PG-13 rating of the movie.
