Konami has announced Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment, as the third game in the strategy RPG series.
The original Vandal Hearts was released way back on the PlayStation 1 in 1997. It also got a PS1 sequel called Vandal Hearts 2 in 1999.
The new game is in development for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade as a downloadable title.
It will be an prequel to the series so knowledge of the previous games won’t be necessary to enjoy this new title in the franchise.
The game will also include multiple endings, an overhaul to the interface and computer controlled party members that will “adapt to the player’s style of gameplay”.
Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment will be released in September of this year.
