Some interesting Wii Fit and Wii Motion Plus news has surfaced via a snapshot of an in-store Wii release list from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
First up is a release date for Wii Sports Resort and a Wii MotionPlus bundle which have a date set for July 10th this year. In addition to the bundle you will also be able to pick up the Wii MotionPlus accessory on it’s own. — Correction: The Wii MotionPlus release date is June 12th and Wii Sports Resort comes out on June 24th in Europe. Nintendo has since also confirmed that the Wii MotionPlus accessory is also compatible with Virtua Tennis 2009 (SEGA), Grand Slam Tennis (EA), and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (EA).
Then there is a release date for a game being called “Wii Fit Plus” which has a release date of November 19th.
There are no details or pictures on the games, but if I had to guess “Wii Fit Plus” will be an upgraded version of the game that allows you to use the Wii MotionPlus accessory for additional 1:1 motion exercises.
We’ll just have to wait and see for an official Nintendo reveal.
