The Godfather 2, EA’s upcoming videogame based off the hit second movie in the Godfather trilogy and sequel to the first Godfather game, will be getting a “Don Control” patch day and date with The Godfather 2’s release on April 7th, 2009.
Apparently the patch by EA’s Redwood Shores studio was not able to be finished in time for the pressing of the game’s disc, but will be available when the game launches (for free) instead.
The Don Control is another multiplayer mode, but this one allows two players to take leadership roles in their respective eight-man teams. Players can even gamble their single-player currency on the outcome of the match.
The Godfather 2 will launch on April 7th, 2009 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
