Sony will be launching a beautiful new Lilac-colored PSP targeted at younger female gamers as part of a new initiative aimed at targeting that market.
The new Lilac PSP will only be available as part of the new “Hannah Montana PSP Entertainment Pack”. In addition to the Lilac-colored PSP, girls will also get Disney Interactive’s Hannah Montana PSP videogame, a selection of episodes from Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana TV show on UMD, a 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo and some stickers. The bundle will retail for $200.
Personally I think the Lilac-colored PSP looks gorgeous, hopefully Sony will allow guys to get in on some of the action without having to arm themselves to protect from the beating that will ensue if they are seen walking out of the store with a PSP Hannah Montana bundle.
In addition to the PSP pack aimed at girls, Sony has also bagged Ubisoft’s Petz line of games which will be getting it’s first PSP entry in the series later this year with Petz Saddle Club coming in September. The series allows players to “create and care for cute, furry pets chosen from many different breeds of dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, dolphins, tigers and bunnies.”
And for those males who are looking for some PSP love, Sony has announced that they will be releasing an Assassin’s Creed Bundle Pack later this year which will contain the PSP game system along with an all-new portable entry in the Assassin’s Creed series, of which little is known. The system however will be the usual Piano Black colored, no other details were revealed on the bundle outside of it’s $200 dollar price tag.
