This Resident Evil Retrospective looks at “The Survivors” of Capcom’s best-selling survival horror series.
As any fan of the franchise will tell you, Resident Evil is as much about a complex interweaving of characters and plot twists involving a large array of players, as it is about action adventure gameplay, solving puzzles and blowing the heads off of zombies (err, “zombie-like creatures”, to be specific).
In celebration of the December 27th release of Resident Evil: Degeneration (the all-new computer generated film that stars series protagonists Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy) GameTrailers takes a look at the complex plot of the series, from the very first Resident Evil 1 and Resident Evil 2 and 3, through Code Veronica and beyond and takes you through who survived the horrific zombie infested horrors of each game. Leading up to the movie Resident Evil: Degeneration, which in itself takes place between the games Resident Evil 4 and 5.
Be warned that there are lots of game spoilers contained within, so if you haven’t played a specific entry in the series, then you may want to tread cautiously.
