Kudos to the folks at Rare! They have just released a title update for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts that fixes the small text problem for players who are using a standard definition television as opposed to an HDTV.
Like with a lot of HD games, small text can literally be a make or break problem if you can’t read what it is you are supposed to be doing when playing on a standard TV set. This is the first time I have heard of a developer releasing a patch to fix it, so good on Rare for doing so! Hopefully this will become a precedent for other developers.
To fix the text simply go into the Display Options setting under the main menu after downloading the title update (patch) and you will see a new option for “Large Dialogue Text”. Check it to make the text in the game much bigger than before.
