Nintendo has unveiled it’s 1st Quarter 2009 game line-up for Wii and DS in Europe. One new game announced is “Walk With Me!: Do You know You’re Walking Routine?” an all new DS fitness game that will help people with their active walking lifestyle in a fun way.
The game includes an Activity Meter which is a specially designed pedometer that counts every step you take minute by minute and store up to a week’s worth of walking data . . . er, “rythm data” and set targets for their walking routine. After walking for a week you can then compare results with up to four . . . creatures, be it friends, family or even your pet dog! The game will rank you and you can compare yourself with others as well as against the rest of the world. And for the first time Mii support will be included in a DS game. You can either transfer your Mii’s from your Wii console to the DS for use in Walk With Me or you can create all-new Mii’s in the game if you don’t have a Wii console.
Also releasing in 2009 for Wii will be the launch of Nintendo’s “New Play Control!” line of GameCube classics upgraded and released for Wii with WideScreen support, new Wii controls using the Wii Remote & Nunchuck and in some cases addition upgrades. The first two titles in the series are Pikmin and Mario Power Tennis.
