The upcoming DC Universe Online MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) will let players live in a world inhabited by superheros of both the famous (Superman, Batman, Wonder Women . . . Aquaman) and player-created kind in a massive project that’s in development by Sony Online Entertainment Austin in conjunction with comic book legend Jim Lee and DC Comics.
In an interview with MTV Multiplayer, the game’s writer Geoff Johns revealed the release date, at least to his understand. According to his statement the game will launch in later 2009 or early 2010 for PS3 and PC.
He goes on to say:
“I’ve written the overall story and the path that gets you into the game and the areas of the universe and how to explore them, but not every line of dialogue. That’s a fulltime job, it’s too frigging big, too intense to write every line of an MMO. I’d probably jump off a building.”
