Chrono Trigger DS includes a new ending the SNES original didn’t have

Chrono Trigger releases for DS on November 25th, 2008 and will include a number of extras, including a brand new ending.

Pre-Order Chrono Trigger for Nintendo DSKotaku reported on the ending and was given two new screenshots from the game that are reportedly related to the new ending (view one of them above).The new ending brings the total number of endings in the game to 14 (or 16 depending on how you count).

And that isn’t the only addition to the DS version of the Super Nintendo masterpiece, the game will also include a new dungeon and a new battle arena. There is also a new “Character Mode” gallery where you can view the game’s event scenes, listen to the music tracks from the game, view monster data and statistics and look at treasure maps for the areas you’ve visited (which will show you any treasure chests you may have missed).
