Mirror’s Edge releases to gamers hands on November 11th, 2008 (November 14th for Europe) for Xbox 360 and PS3 (the PC version will hit in January 2009) and along with it comes the story of Faith, a courier (called “Runners”) who must deliver messages by hand due to a totalitarian government regime that monitors all communication.
Faith’s sister gets abducted without reason, and now it is up to Faith to free her from the government’s hands. This is done by free-running via a first-person perspective through a stylized world, as Faith leaps, slides, jumps, and fights her way through the game’s various, colorful environments (red always points the way you need to go) for a gaming experience that’s unlike anything that has come before it.
