CastleVania the Arcade game is a surprise title developed by Konami that the Japanese can now enjoy at their local arcade parlor.
How exactly would an arcade CastleVania game work, you ask? (And yes, the “V” is deliberately capitalized) How about by letting YOU become the vampire slayer yourself, by handing you a whip to swing around! That’s right, the arcade machine features a huge screen and allows for two players to stand up next to each other and swing a “whip” around to whack enemies with. But . . . that’s about all that we know at this point.
Sadly, there isn’t much more to go on than a few eye-witness accounts from gamers who have seen it, but the whip is motion-sensitive, which begs the question . . . could this game possibly come to the Wii (who is getting an upcoming spin-off called Castlevania Judgment)? And is it build on the same Wii Arcade hardware as Capcom’s Tatsunoko VS Capcom fighting game?
