No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle announced for Wii. Release due 2010

No More Heroes for WiiAt the Tokyo Game Show 2008 going on right now developer Grasshopper Manufacture and publisher Marvelous Interactive announced that anime geek Travis Touchdown with his Beam Katana “will be back” in the sequel to No More Heroes called No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle.

Designer/Director of the original Mature rated game, Goichi Suda AKA Suda51, will be in charge of the sequel as well. The Wii action-adventure game is not expected to arrive in Japan in February 2010. With the original game being a sort of cult-hit and a good seller in America and Europe, while unconfirmed at this time, I’d expect to see it come out outside of Japan with help from Ubisoft and Rising Star Games.
