Far Cry 2 producer Louis-Pierre Pharand has said in an interview that “no demos will be available.” But why? He added the reason was because “It became too complex to do a demo of an [50 square kilometres large] open world game. We decided to put those efforts into the game so everyone can enjoy a better, more polished experience,” quotes Eurogamer.

Far Cry 2 will be released on PC, Xbox 360 & PS3 in America on October 23rd, and in Europe on October 24th, 2008.
