Banjo-Tooie coming to Xbox 360 in 2009. Banjo-Kazooie release date is November 26th

Pre-Order Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts for Xbox 360Banjo-Tooie is coming to Xbox 360 in early 2009 with Banjo-Kazooie‘s release date set for November 26th, 2008 for the Xbox Live Arcade debut of the infamous N64-era bird-and-bear duo.

In addition the price for Banjo-Kazooie will clock in at $15 or 1,200 Microsoft Points. Although if you pre-order the all-new Banjo adventure, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts at participating retailers, then you’ll not only get the game two weeks early, but you’ll also get it for free!

And in addition to being able to play one of the Nintendo 64’s best games on your Xbox 360 with a full graphical upgrade and Achievements to unlock, you’ll also be able to complete the legendary “Stop ‘N’ Swap” feature that was originally planned for the Nintendo 64 release, which amounts to you being able to unlock additional content in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

Personally I think it’s totally awesome that Banjo-Kazooie is getting a revival on the Xbox 360 as it was one of my favorite Nintendo 64 games, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens from here on out with Rare if these games are a success sales-wise. Hopefully they will seriously consider bringing some of their other classic Nintendo 64 games to Xbox Live Arcade, like say . . . Jet Force Gemini!
