Lumines Supernova has been announced for PS3 via the PlayStation Network from Q Entertainment. This follows the recent Xbox Live Arcade announcement for Meteos Wars. So looks like they are keeping both sides of the fanboy spectrum happy, eh.
The game was announced for release this fall for Japanese PS3’s via the PlayStation Network. The game is still the same block-following puzzler you know and love as you try to create 2×2 squares matches of the same color. And in typical Q Entertainment fashion, the gameplay is synched up to awesome background music and impressive visual effects.
New features for the PS3 version include a mode to create your own music, in addition to new stages and modes. Not much more info to go by though, including whether the game will be released outside of Japan.
