Below we’ve listed each character in alphabetical order and how to unlock them:

1. Baby Daisy
To unlock Baby Daisy, you need to have Wario use his magnet to pull out the baby rattle from the fountain at Peach Garden. After this, use Yoshi and go through the manhole cover on the left side of the garden, where you will find a crying baby. The baby is, of course, Baby Daisy! Finally, give her the rattle. She will then be unlocked.

2. Baby DK
To unlock Baby DK, you need to use Yoshi’s power at the DK Jungle stage to free Baby DK from the palm tree. He will then be unlocked. Alternatively, you can defeat DK’s team to unlock Baby DK.

3. Baby Luigi
To unlock Baby Luigi, you need to pull the levers in Mario’s Stadium. This will connect the bridge and unlock Baby Luigi.

4. Baby Mario

9. Blue Pianta

17. Green Noki
To unlock the Green Noki, you must first unlock the Blue Nokie and have him on your team. After doing so, talk to the Green Noki at the beach at Mario’s Stadium.

To unlock the Donkey Kong Country enemy known as “Kritter” in Mario Super Sluggers, you need to beat King K. Rool at DK Jungle.

23. Monty Mole
To unlock Monty Mole, you have must use Peach on the Monty outline that you will find on the beach at Mario Stadium.

24. Paragoomba
Flying Goomba ahoy! To unlock Paragoomba, you need to use Yoshi’s ground pound move on one of the palm trees in Wario City.

25. Paratroopa

Sadly, the little guy seems to always get overlooked, having to often play second-fiddle to the supposedly more popular Mario characters. But thankfully, the original mushroom dude is playable in Mario Super Sluggers. To unlock Toad, you simply need to start Peach’s Stadium. “I’m the best!”

34. Toadette
Toadette was the first “obviously female” version of Toad and made her debut in Mario Kart: Double Dash for the GameCube. She also appears in Mario Super Sluggers. To unlock Toadette, you must talk to her at Peach’s Stadium. She’ll then be unlocked.

38. Yellow Yoshi
